
Interpreting Ore Textures, Breccias and Alteration – SEG 2025 Post-Conference Workshop

This workshop will introduce observational techniques to interpret textures in altered, mineralized and brecciated systems and demonstrate the integration of these observational techniques with geochemical, micro-analytical and hyperspectral data. The workshop is particularly aimed at senior tertiary students and early career geoscientists.
The workshop is a joint venture between the Economic Geology Research Centre (EGRU) at James Cook University and the Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ) and will be held at the GSQ Exploration Data Centre in Zillmere.
