EGRU Professional Development Program

The EGRU professional development short course program was created in collaboration with industry professionals. The program aims to provide high quality training in core and applied geoscience skills suitable for professionals ranging from early career to highly experienced geoscientists.

Since its inception in 2018 the program has gradually increased the number and range of courses offered each year and has provided training to geoscientists around the world.

The courses are delivered by highly experienced industry and discipline specialists. Most courses are delivered online, some are offered as in-person courses on campus, some are field-based, and some can also be delivered in-house and tailored to meet requirements.

• QGIS for Mineral Exploration (4 modules)
• Exploration Geophysics for Geologists (3 modules)
• Mineral Exploration Management (3 modules)
• Exploration Geochemistry (3 modules)
• Field Training for Exploration and Mine Geologists
