Leapfrog Geo Fundamentals for Students

Overview

In early 2024 EGRU will collaborate with Seequent and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG) to offer a short course in Leapfrog Geo Fundamentals for Honours and Postgraduate students.

  • Places on the course are limited and priority will be given to students enrolled in full-time Geoscience Honours or Postgraduate study at an Australian university.
  • Seequent will provide delegates with training licenses and training data.
  • Delegates will need Windows OS, 2 monitors and an external mouse.

Students enrolled in full-time Geoscience Honours or Postgraduate study at universities outside Australia are welcome to register for the course after Monday 22 January 2024 if places are still available.

EGRU – SEEQUENT Award

The proceeds from this short course will go towards supporting an EGRU – SEEQUENT Award in 2024.  Applications for the award will be open to students enrolled full-time at Honours or Postgraduate level in a geoscience major degree at an Australian university, and who use Leapfrog software in their research projects.

Details of the award – amount, eligibility, application guidelines and deadline – will be announced later this year.

If you’re interested in the EGRU – SEEQUENT award send an email to EGRU_training@jcu.edu.au and we will keep you updated.
