Leapfrog Geo Fundamentals for Students

EGRU is collaborating with Seequent and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG) to offer a short course in Leapfrog Geo Fundamentals for students enrolled in full-time Geoscience Honours or Postgraduate study at an Australian* university.

The course will be delivered online in 4 x 4 hour sessions over 4 consecutive days.

Getting started with Leapfrog
Importing and validating data
Contact surface types
Geological modelling
Dynamic model updating
Numerical modelling
Drillhole planning
Cross sections
Images, scenes, movies, LF viewer

If you’re interested in attending the course, or have students who may want to attend, please contact EGRU_training@jcu.edu.au so we can let you know the dates when registration will open and close.

*Students enrolled in full-time Geoscience Honours or Postgraduate study at universities outside Australia are welcome to register for the course if places are available at the close of registration.
